For centuries most of the machines, clothing, tools were manufactured by hand of people and helped with animals. It consumed a lot of energy and apparently didn’t effective and cost a lot of money. By the beginning of the 19th century, manufacturing began to change, new discoveries are emerging and growing. It began to be known as Industry 1.0 and the manufacture in the world developed since there.
For the first time in the late 18th century, introduced mechanical production facilities and steam power. In use for increasing the human productivity and efficiency, then grew small business owned by the people, and there also structural organizations with owners, managers, and employees serving the customers. Industry 1.0 also known as the beginning of industrial culture.
Industry 2.0 started in the beginning of 19th century. The revolution was focus more on the development of machines running with electrical energy. It is more efficient to maintain and easy to operate because less cost and effort.
In the last few decades of 20th century is the advanced of the Industry 3.0. Many inventions of electronic devices which reduced effort also costs, increased accuracy and efficiency even without human intervention. Industry 3.0 also marked as the development of software system that enabled human to track the factory. To reduce the cost, many company moves their manufacturers to low-cost countries.
Internet and communication industry in 21st century revolution and changed the way we connected and exchanged communication. With internet people were able to share information around the world. It also resulted the smart machine as a computer technology, and expanded with a network connection to help maintain, detect, and solve problem with suggest preventing the remedial action. It put machines, people, intelligence into a networking to maintain management efficiency.
